000 TTAA00 KLSE 301315 RRA SVRLSE WIC011-063-121-301400- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI 815 AM CDT WED JUL 30 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...BUFFALO TREMPEALEAU AND LA CROSSE AT 810 AM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THAT POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH THROUGH SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA. AREAS AROUND ROCHESTER REPORTED WIND GUSTS TO 68 MPH AS THE STORMS PASSED THROUGH THAT CITY. PEOPLE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD BE ALERT FOR DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES PER HOUR..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR MORE IN DIAMETER.. DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS. TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY IN A REINFORCED BUILDING SUCH AS YOUR HOME IF THESE STORMS APPROACH YOUR AREA.
