THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND 
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE 
FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL MICHIGAN...MUSKEGON AND SOUTHERN OCEANA
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTIES JUST MENTIONED

AT 510PM, THE LEADING EDGE OF AN AREA OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
WAS 10 MILES OFFSHORE MUSKEGON COUNTY.  RADAR INDICATED
HEAVIER THUNDERSTORMS TO BE 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MUSKEGON
COUNTY.
THE STORMS WILL BE MOVING ONScHORE MUSKEGON AND SOUTHERN
OCEANA COUNTIES AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

 THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY INTENSE LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY
 WINDS.
