THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN...MASON...LAKE...OSCEOLA AND MECOSTA

AT 325AM EDT RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN THROUGHOUT THESE COUNTIES
IN WEST CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN AND SHERIFFS REPORT WATER 8 FEET
DEEP IN REED CITY IN OSCEOLA COUNTY..WITH RESCUE ONGOING BY BOAT.
THE DAMS ON THE HERSEY RIVER ARE FULL AND OVERFLOWING. THE SHERIFF
IN MECOSTA COUNTY REPORTS FLOODING AT BIG RAPIDS AND WINTERS CREEK
WAS OUT OF ITS BANKS.  IT APPEARS THAT WILLIAMS DAM WILL OVERFLOW.

PERSONS ALONG RIVERS..STREAMS..AND CREEKS IN THESE COUNTIES SHOULD
GO TO HIGHER GROUND NOW.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS STREAMS OR ROADS
COVERED WITH WATER.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED. TAKE ACTION TO SAFEGUARD LIFE AND PROPERTY.
