SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ABERDEEN SD 710 PM CDT SUN MAY 11 1986 AT 600 PM MDT RADAR INDICATED VERY INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED OVER NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. THE MAIN THUNDERSTORMS HAVE A CURRENT LOCATION OF 10 MILES SOUTH OF WATAUGA IN CORSON COUNTY OR 60 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF MOBRIDGE SOUTH DAKOTA, AND THE OTHER THUNDERSTORM IS LOCATED 15 MILES SOUTH OF FIRESTEEL IN NORTHWEST DEWEY COUNTY OR 45 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF MOBRIDGE. THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL. PERSONS WITHIN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS WITH THE PASSAGE OF THESE STORMS. PERSONS WITHIN THE MFCINTOSH AREA OF CORSON COUNTY CAN EXPECT PASSAGE BETWEEN 645 PM MDT AND 730 PM MDT WHILE PERSONS WITHIN THE TIMBER LAKE AREA OF DEWEY COUNTY CAN EXPECT PASSAGE BETWEEN 630 PM MDT AND 715 PM MDT.
