000 TTAA00 KHON 012238 TORHON SDC073-012300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HURON SD 538 PM CDT WED OCT 1 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...JERAULD SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THE WARNING AREA ARE WESSINGTON SPRINGS AT 532 PM CDT A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS REPORTED BY A SEVERE WEATHER SPOTTER 5 MILES EAST OF GANNVALLEY IN SOUTHWESTERN JERAULD COUNTY. GANNVALLEY IS 40 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HURON. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...YOU SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER IF AVAILABLE.
