THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 415 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...WALWORTH

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE ADJACENT WATERS OF THE MISSOURI RIVER.

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING IS AKASKA..LOWRY..
JAVA..SELBY AND MOBRIDGE.

AT 300 AM CDT  RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER THE
ENTIRE POTTER AND WALWORTH COUNTY LINE OF NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

 AS THIS STORM MOVED OVER SULLY AND POTTER COUNTIES OF NORTH
CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AGAR IN NORTHERN SULLY HAD SOME WIND DAMAGE
WITH WINDS AROUND 60 MPH. IN THE GETTYSBURG AREA SOME STRONG
WIND..VERY HEAVY RAIN AND MARBLE SIZE HAIL.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..YOU SHOULD GET TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITlH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
