COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...HUGHES AND SOUTHERN SULLY

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE ADJACENT WATERS OF THE MISSOURI RIVER.

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THE WARNING AREA ARE PIERRE AND
BLUNT

AT  615 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTHWEST
OF PIERRE MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLYT
LIGHTNING..AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS VERY
QUICKLY.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
