000 TTAA00 KABQ 030028 SVRABQ NMC057-019-030130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE NM 628 PM MDT FRI MAY 2 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...EASTERN TORRANCE AND SOUTHWEST GUADALUPE AT 620PM...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR AND SATEL- LITE PHOTOS WITHIN A 10 MILE RADIUS OF ENCINO NEW MEXICO. THE MAIN CORE OF THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS NEARLY STATIONARY WHILE SMALLER THUNDERSTORM CELLS NEAR IT WERE MOVING EAST NORTHEASTWARD AT 15 TO 20 MPH. SEVEAL REPORTS OF HAIL HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FROM THE WARNING AREA... WITH HAIL SEVERAL INCHES DEEP REPORTED BEWTEEN CLINES CORNERS AND ENCINO. LITTLE CHANGE IN THE STORM/S INTENSITY HAS BEEN NOTED IN THE LAST HOUR. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN, LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS, DANGUEROUS LIGHTNING, AND LOCALIZED FLOODING.
