WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS PORTIONS
OF NEW MEXICO DURING THE PAST SEVERAL HOURS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS FIRST
DEVELOPED OVER THE MOUNTAIN AREAS AND ARE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST
AROUND 20 MPH. BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL, SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS MAY
ACCOMPANY THIS ACTIVITY THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS UNTIL THE SHOWERS
BEGIN TO DISSIPATE.

LIGHTNING WILL ACCOMPANY THESE STROMS. THE HEAVY RAINFALL MAY FILL
ARROYOS WITH FAST FLOWING WATER. MOTORISTS ARE REMINDED OF THE DANGER
ASSOCIATED WITH ARROYO CROSSINGS AND FLOODED INTERSECTIONS. SHOWERS
