- Fire was spotted by Engine 4722. Fire was actively moving when IA resources arrived on scene. Crews were unable to contain fire. Type 2 IMT (Mark Rapp) was ordered and was aided in the containment by weather change(Monsoonal Moisture).
The three sizes are three measurements: the size the agency reported when the fire was out, the burned area MTBS drew from satellite imagery before and after, and the GIS area inside the final perimeter, unburned islands included. They rarely agree exactly.
