- The Coyote Fire (C491; 3887.0 acres), Perkins Fire (C492; 21276.0 acres), and several other smaller fires comprised the Coyote Complex. The Coyote and Perkins fires were reported separately in WFMI. No Fire Incident Number could be located.
The three sizes are three measurements: the size the agency reported when the fire was out, the burned area MTBS drew from satellite imagery before and after, and the GIS area inside the final perimeter, unburned islands included. They rarely agree exactly.
