Visual observations in Bechevinskaya Bay recorded waves of approximately 65 cm in height.The following day, July 21, 2025, specialists from the Kamchatka HydrometeorologicalCenter, together with researchers from the Far Eastern Federal University Institute ofInternational Relations, visited Khalaktyrsky Beach to determine the tsunami height based onaccompanying signs, such as coastal erosion and seaweed splash. According to the surveyresults, the wave height at the mouth of the Khalaktyrka River was 1 m 53 cm. (reference #14188) [unofficial translation]
