It was our intention to put an end to the rumours
about the "origin" of the Odessa event and to
demonstrate that the "Odessa tsunami" of 27 June
2014 was actually a meteotsunami closely linked
with the Mediterranean events of 23-26 June 2014.
Synoptic conditions, air pressure and sea level
records, as well as our numerical modelling results
support this conclusion. (reference #12051)
