According to the Kamchchatka Tsunami Center in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka, a tsunami warning was issued on November 13, 1993, at 17:29 (local time) for the whole east coast of Kamchatka after the earthquake occurred at 17:18 (local time), 100 miles southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka, where it was felt with intensity V to VI on the XII-grade scale; some minor damage was reported. The tsunami warning was canceled at 18:44 (local time). No damage from the tsunami was reported. (Reference #459)
