In November 1991, a submarine landslide occurred during the preliminary pile sinking process of the 200,000 ton-scale crude oil terminal project of China Sinopec at Aoshan, Xingzhong, having caused collapse of many pile foundations and generated a 2-3 m tsunami (Hu and Ye 2006). (reference #13343)
