Not so many records and materials are available on the meteotsunami that appeared in Široka Bay (Ist Island) on 5 October 1984. Eyewitnesses reported that a 4-m wave struck the island. However, no significant oscillations were measured by the operational tide gauges in the northern Adriatic (e.g. high-frequency oscillations at Rovinj were 5–7 cm in high only). (reference #10630)
