The observation of three waves of 4–5 m near the Cape Idokopas (near Sochi-Tuapse, Russia) has been reported on 8 April 1909 by Pelinovsky [1999] without mentioning any triggering event. An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 and focal depth of 9 km at the epicenter coordinates 42.0 E, 44.1 N had been reported on 18 April 1909 at 1045 (GMT) (KOERI database). Because of the insufficient information, we do not include this event in the above list. (reference #4213)
