1864, February 16 There was a very strong earthquake on the
west coast of Sumatra Island, in the districts of Mandeling and Apgkola, and at Padang and Penjabungan, on the Batu Islands, which was accompanied by a tsunami. [Apparently, an erroneous date for the earthquake and tsunami of 16.11.1861.] (reference #414)
