This is considered to be a confused entry for an earthquake on Copper Island and the eruption of Pogromni Volcano. Reports of the drowning of swine on Chernabura Island due to a tsunami linked to this date are believed to be erroneous. There is no evidence of a tsunami associated with this event. (from Reference #239)
Heck (Ref #132) erroneously refers to a tsunami on the Aleutian Islands. In fact, an earthquake not accompanied by a tsunami did place in the Commander Islands. (from Reference #414)
