Reference #1879: "Nov. 14. 1:30 p.m. Sundval in Sweden, and the environs. A violent shock, lasting 1.5 minute. Succeeded by a sudden reflux of the sea, which caused the river flowing through the town to inundate its banks. Accompanied by a low noise, in the direction N.E. to S.W. Several claps of thunder were heard after the shock."
