July 24, 1751, Off Miyagi. Rikuzen tsunami, intensity 0, validity 1. (reference #150)
July 24, 1751. There was a tsunami on the Ojika Peninsula and in Kesennuma Gulf (Miyagi Prefecture). There are no reports of an earthquake. This was a tsunami from a remote source or of storm origin. Most likely the date is mixed up and the report concerns an effect of the Chilean tsunami of May 25, 1751. (reference #414)
