Berninghausen (Reference #43) says: "No local shock mentioned. A disastrous inundation occurred on the coast of Holland." His reference is Mallet and Mallet (Reference #1879) which associates this event to an earthquake in Inspruck (Innsbruck). The connection is unlikely.
