River Tone to Tokyo Bay flew upward, tsunami was observed there. Listed as ‘definite’ tsunami (reference #150)
There was a tsunami on the south coast of the Kanto district. A reverse current was observed in the Tone River. Listed as a ‘likely’ tsunami. (reference #414)
One document mentioned that water flew upstream of Tone River in Tokyo Bay. If this indicates a tsunami, this earthquake may be considered a Kanto earthquake, although the tsunami damage from any location was not documented (reference #13909)
