What the Weather Service recorded
Another round of severe thunderstorms initiated along a cold front in a highly unstable environment. Most of these storms remained west of a line from Sherman to Fort Worth to Comanche. One brief EF-0 tornado occurred in Comanche County near Sidney, and several reports of golfball to baseball sized hail were reported. The largest hail stones reported were 3 in diameter.
A brief EF-0 tornado occurred with no damage approximately 2 miles north-northwest of Sidney.
