From Fortsonia to Elberton, this F1 tornado ran 7.5 miles across Elbert County on September 16, 2004, touching down at 5:18 PM EDT and reaching 30 yards wide. It killed nobody and injured 1, and did $100,000 of property damage.

Incredible damage. Strong frame houses swept off their foundations, car-sized missiles thrown more than 100 meters, steel-reinforced concrete badly damaged, high-rise buildings deformed.
