- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, January 3 to 4, 2009Light freezing rain spread across south-central and southeast Wisconsin during the overnight hours of January 3rd. Ice accumulations on road and sidewalks ranged from 1/10 to 2/10 of an inch, but there were some isolated 1/4 inch amounts.
- Lake-Effect Snow and Winter Weather in Wisconsin, March 12 to 14, 2017A significant lake effect snowstorm occurred over eastern WI with snowfall totals of 1 to 2 feet. Hundreds of vehicles were involved in accidents and slide-offs including several large chain-reaction accidents on I-41 and I-43 on March 13th.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, February 3 to 4, 2018A long duration period of relatively mild and moist air moving into the region, followed by a low pressure area and cold front resulted in several inches of snow accumulation. |The long duration snow resulted in 4 to 8 inches of accumulation over much of southern WI.

- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Wisconsin, January 18 to 20, 2019Strong low pressure moving across the Ohio River Valley spread a swath of moderate to heavy snow across southern WI. Lake effect snow contributed to the heavy snow accumulations near Lake MI. Many vehicle slide-offs and accidents occurred especially in the Milwaukee metro area.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, November 24, 2008The first widespread snow event of the 2008-09 winter season for south-central and southeast Wisconsin consisted of 1 to 4.8 inches of snow accumulations.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, March 28 to 29, 2009Strong low pressure tracked northeast from southeast Missouri to southeast Lower Michigan during the night of March 28th into the morning of March 29th. Maximum snowfall totals of 4 inches were recorded over Fond Du Lac, Iowa and northern Lafayette counties.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Wisconsin, February 1 to 2, 2015Intensifying low pressure tracked from the central Great Plains to southeast Indiana the night of January 31st into the evening of February 1st. This resulted in a long duration winter storm and blizzard over portions of southern WI.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Wisconsin, March 23 to 24, 2016Strong low pressure tracked from the central Great Plains across northern IL and Lower MI, bringing snow, freezing rain, and sleet to southern WI. Heavier snow amounts were toward central WI.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, December 8 to 9, 2013Low pressure and lake enhanced snow brought several inches of powdery snow to southern Wisconsin. Hundreds of vehicle accidents including several pile-ups occurred, especially in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Three deaths were reported with weather as a contributing factor.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, February 23 to 24, 2007Snowfalls of 3 to almost 6 inches fell overnight across Rock, Walworth, Racine, and Kenosha counties. The snow was heavy and wet, and visibilites were reduced to below 1 mile. Roads became very slippery. Some social activities were cancelled.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, March 2, 2017Icy roads from previously fallen snow resulted in three fatal accidents in Walworth, Jefferson, and Dodge Counties.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, December 19, 2016Areas of ice and snow on roadways from a prior winter storm caused dozens of accidents in the freeways in Milwaukee County. This included a pickup truck that slid of the Hoan Bridge resulting in a fatality.

- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, January 27, 2023An upper level disturbance and approaching cold front resulted in a period of snow showers across southern WI from the late morning into the afternoon. The snow showers produced a brief period of reduced visibility and accumulating snow on the roads.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Wisconsin, April 7 to 8, 2010Low pressure that moved across Illinois into lower Michigan produced rain, and later snow, in northeast Wisconsin. The rain quickly changed to snow when the winds shifted, bringing much colder air from Canada into the the area.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Wisconsin, December 16 to 18, 2016A long duration snowstorm that was comprised of two rounds of snow affected southern WI during the afternoon and evening on Dec. 16th and again on Dec. 17th. The first round of snow was associated with relatively mild and moist air moving into the mid levels of the atmosphere.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Wisconsin, December 3 to 4, 2013Several inches of snow, along with a period of freezing rain, caused hazardous driving conditions across much of north central and northeast Wisconsin. The heaviest snow fell in far north central Wisconsin where 4 to 6 inches of snow was followed by freezing rain and sleet.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, January 24 to 25, 2020A large and slow moving low pressure area brought 3-4 inches of snow to portions of southern WI. Some vehicle slide-offs and accidents occurred, including a two fatality accident in Jefferson County.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, February 17 to 18, 2019A slow moving low pressure area brought a prolonged period of light to moderate snowfall. Lake enhanced snow contributed to the overall totals for the counties bordering Lake MI.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, November 25, 2013A surge of relatively warm and moist air aloft led to the development of light to moderate snow during the morning rush hour with 1-3 inches accumulating.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Wisconsin, February 9, 2020A surge of relatively warm and moist air aloft and an upper level disturbance and front, brought several inches of snow to southern WI. Some areas received 6-10 inches. Snow covered roads and low visibilities resulted in many vehicle slide-offs and accidents.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, December 20 to 21, 2010Southern Wisconsin recorded accumulating snow in most areas as a warm front passed through the region under an upper-level disturbance.
- Winter Weather in Wisconsin, December 23, 2021A band of freezing drizzle moved across portions of western Wisconsin during the early morning of December 23rd. A glaze of ice accumulated on untreated surfaces, including Interstate 94 in Jackson County.
