- Wildfire in Wisconsin, April 17, 2010A tractor ignited a cornfield south of Osseo in Trempealeau County in the early evening hours of April 17th. The wildfire killed one individual and injured two others. Winds had increased to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph in the area that afternoon and evening.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, May 6, 2020A small wildfire occurred May 6th east of Cottonville (Adams County) in the Town of Richfield. The burned remains of a person was found with the cause of death determined to be cardiac related because of extreme stress and exertion related to the fire.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, April 20, 2020An elderly man died from burns sustained trying to extinguish a grass fire near Ettrick (Trempealeau County). The fire occurred during the morning of April 20th and was started by a burning pile of garbage.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, May 5 to 6, 2005A grass fire quickly got out of control and eventually burned 3,870 acres in northern Adams County. The fire started 4 miles south-southeast of Big Flats and spread northeastward a distance of approximately seven miles.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, April 17, 2009Very dry conditions and strong winds across portions of central Wisconsin caused a controlled burn of grass clippings in a wooded area to quickly become out of control in Adams County on April 17th.
- Wildfire and Hail in Wisconsin, October 1 to 2, 2006Scattered severe thunderstorms developed across south-central and southeast Wisconsin during the late evening hours on October 1st and continued into the pre-dawn, early morning hours of October 2nd. A surface trough pushing east across the western Great Lakes region.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, May 2, 2015A small central Wisconsin wildfire destroyed six buildings southeast of Necedah (Juneau County) on May 2nd. Dry conditions across central Wisconsin helped to fuel the fire that started on a warm afternoon. The fire destroyed three houses and three outbuildings.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, April 29, 2018A wildfire broke out during the afternoon of April 29th near the Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area in southwest Clark County. The fire consumed 89 acres of mainly county lands and a small amount of private property. No structures were lost in the fire but several were threatened.

The fire was likely started by a passing train and then spread quickly by winds that gusted close to 30 mph.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, April 13, 1998A wildfire, fanned by gusty winds, charred 158 acres of red pine in New Rome township during the early morning of April 13. The fire necessitated the evacuation of some nearby residences. Nobody was injured and no homes were lost.

- Wildfire in Wisconsin, April 4, 2021A wildfire in the Necedah Wildlife Refuge (Juneau County) burned 257 acres on April 4th. The fire was started in the late morning by a passing train. Most of the land that was burned was classified by the Wisconsin DNR as non-timbered marsh, bog or lowland brush.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, June 12, 2006Smoldering forest dry matter that was sparked by a lightning strike a week earlier flared into a major fire on the east bay of Big Spider Lake. The fire destroyed a boathouse, two sailboats and two trolling motors. An uninhabited cabin was heavily damaged.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, April 5 to 6, 2000A wildfire, fanned by strong northwest winds gusting to around 55 mph, caused nearly 800 acres to be burned. Homes were evacuated, but none of the structures received damage as fire fighters contained the blaze.
- Wildfire in Wisconsin, March 29, 2022A small wildfire in the median of Interstate 94 near Northfield (Jackson County) contributed to a two vehicle crash. Smoke from the fire created low visibility in the southbound lanes where two vehicles collided. No injuries were reported from the crash.

For several days before the fire, high pressure remained anchored over the Great Lakes setting up a dry east to northeast flow over the region.
