- Dust Devil in South Dakota, April 14, 2005A dust devil developed on the west side of Bison as a dry cold front passed across the area. As it moved east across town, it blew out windows on several automobiles, damaged a 160 square foot section of roof from a house, and tore shingles off several buildings.
- Dust Devil in South Dakota, July 5, 2004A cold air funnel briefly touched the ground in the parking lot of the Hereford store. There was window and door damage to the store, along with the destruction of a picnic table. A vehicle in the parking lot was lifted about a foot off the ground but was not damaged.
