- Dense Fog in Ohio, October 25, 2000A tanker truck hauling 8,600 gallons of gasoline crashed into a car and three other commercial vehicles and exploded. Two people were killed and one injured. The accident occurred in fog that reduced visibility to near zero.
- Dense Fog in Ohio, November 17, 2001Dense fog was a significant contributing factor to two accidents. The first accident occurred on the southeast side of Beavercreek in Greene county.
- Dense Fog in Ohio, February 7, 2000An area of dense fog formed along Interstate 70 during the late evening hours. The dense fog was the cause of a pileup of vehicles, which led to 1 death and 14 injuries.
- Dense Fog in Ohio, December 24, 2019There was a weather-related car crash that killed two people on Christmas Eve in Van Wert County. Widespread dense fog, with visibilities less than a quarter of a mile, was observed in the area during the time of the crash.
- Dense Fog in Ohio, February 5, 2013Clear skies and a fresh snow pack allowed for the formation of fog across northwestern Ohio. Pockets of dense fog occurred with some locations reporting near zero visibilities. The fog played a factor in a 14 vehicle pile up on U.S.
- Dense Fog in Ohio, October 26, 2000Dense fog contributed to the crash of a county sheriff's van hauling prisoners and a TruGreen-Chemlawn truck. Fifteen people were injured, of which one injury was serious.
- Dense Fog in Ohio, January 12, 2005Widespread dense fog developed across much of northwestern Ohio during the morning hours. Visibility was reported to be at or near zero in many locations. Numerous accidents were reported with at least 1 fatality and 1 injury indirectly resulting from the dense fog.
