As this air returned to the region, scattered thunderstorms developed during the early morning hours and continued into early afternoon.
- Tornadoes in Nebraska, May 22, 2004This long tracked tornado is often referred to as the Hallam tornado. It initially touched down 3 miles west of Daykin in northern Jefferson county. The tornado was rated an f0 or f1 in Jefferson county damaging farm outbuildings, grain bins and trees.

- Tornado in Nebraska, June 23, 2003An eventual f4 tornado began its destructive path around 6 miles southwest of Coleridge. The tornado moved northeast and crossed the northern sections of the city uprooting trees, downing power lines and destroying a couple of grain bins.
- Tornadoes and Flooding in Nebraska, June 21 to 30, 2024A series of shortwave troughs traversing the northern CONUS brought unsettled weather to the area for the end of June. On the 21st, a stationary front was draped across northeast Nebraska into Iowa.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Nebraska, October 4, 2013The same powerful storm system that produced severe weather across eastern Nebraska on October 3rd remain in the area on the 4th. A strong area of low pressure moved from eastern Colorado into southern South Dakota during the day.
