- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Nebraska, March 9 to 11, 2013A powerful winter storm moved into the central Plains during the weekend of March 9-10th. The system initially brought warm weather and scattered showers and thunderstorms on the evening of the 8th into the morning of the 9th.

- Blizzard in Nebraska, January 4, 199745-55 mph winds created blizzard conditions across northcentral Nebraska. Blowing and drifting snow caused icy roads and visibilities near zero. A storm-related fatality occurred when an 18 year-old male was struck and killed by a passing vehicle.

- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Nebraska, December 19 to 21, 2006A powerful winter storm moved out of the southern rockies and moved slowly across Nebraska. Due to the slow movement of the system, significant accumulations of freezing rain, sleet and snow occurred.

- Blizzard in Nebraska, November 28, 2005A powerful storm system, which pounded western Nebraska the previous night, finally moved east and spread high winds and blinding snow across south central Nebraska. At the height of the storm, winds of 40 to 60 mph resulted in "white out" conditions in open country.

- Blizzard in Nebraska, April 5 to 6, 1997An intense low pressure moving slowly from southwest Nebraska toward northeast Nebraska dumped 10 inches of snow in the Nebraska Panhandle. A cold front with very strong northwest winds gusting to around 45 mph produced blizzard conditions across the panhandle.
