- Winter Weather in Mississippi, November 13, 2014A light sleet and snow band moved through the Memphis metro area before sunrise on November 13th, 2014. The band pushed east well before the morning commute started. Since temperatures were below freezing, a couple of hundredths accumulated on bridges and overpasses.

This occurred as a arctic high pressure settled over the Ohio Valley and shallow cold air filtered into region.

The greatest amounts fell mainly south and east of the Natchez Trace corridor. Amounts of up to 7 to 8 inches were measured in the Pine Belt.

An upper level low deepened across the northern gulf and produced a swath of snow from southeast Texas, Louisiana, and into Mississippi.

- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Mississippi, January 7, 2010During the midst of the arctic outbreak, a weather system affected the ArkLaMiss region on the 7th and brought a mix of wintry precipitation. A mix of freezing rain, sleet, and light snow fell across the northern third of the forecast area.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Mississippi, January 10 to 11, 2021An upper level low pressure system moved across the region, while a surface low developed along the Gulf Coast and tracked east. Precipitation overspread the region, as temperatures were in the 30s.

Light precipitation that fell over this cold airmass resulted in light freezing rain on the evening of February 12th into the early morning hours of February 13th. Some accumulation occurred on bridges and overpasses.

- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Mississippi, March 7 to 8, 2008A low pressure system developed along the Gulf of Mexico and tracked northeastward into the Southeastern United States. An abundance of moisture was associated with the system.
