- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, April 6, 2005Significant straight line winds caused damage in an area from Anguilla to Nitta Yuma to Delta City. In Anguilla, a home sustained damage. In Nitta Yuma, a church had part of its roof blown off. Additionally, several trees across the area were blown down and uprooted.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, April 6 to 7, 2014A cold front moved through the region on April 4th and stalled along the northern Gulf Coast. Over the next several days, moisture increased over the region ahead of a strong upper level system.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, April 30, 2017During the early morning hours of April 30th, a squall line of severe thunderstorms developed across central Louisiana and pushed eastward across the ArkLaMiss. The line intensified as it approached the Mississippi River and caused wind damage and tornadoes.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Mississippi, June 13, 2011A mesoscale convective complex developed over Southwest Missouri during the early morning hours of June 13th, 2011. The remnants of the complex moved into the Mid-South during the late morning into the afternoon hours.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, April 5 to 6, 2025On the evening of April 5th into the morning of April 6th, strong to severe storms produced tornadoes, damaging winds and flash flooding.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Mississippi, July 20, 2000High winds from a strong outflow boundary well ahead of a line of thunderstorms produced scattered damage in the county. A window was blown out of a shop in downtown Cleveland, several roofs received some damage, and some power lines were blown down.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Mississippi, June 16, 2023During the afternoon and evening of June 15th, an upper-level disturbance triggered a cluster of thunderstorms along a stationary front boundary around the Texas and Oklahoma border.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, May 3 to 4, 2009Early on the 3rd, clusters of severe storms evolved into a line which produced scattered wind damage as it pushed east along and just north of I-20. An outflow boundary pushed out of this line and provided the focus for the second powerful and significant severe event.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, March 3 to 4, 2008A strong upper level system and evolving surface low moved across the region late on March 3rd. These features combined to bring a potent weather system to the area and a healthy round of severe thunderstorms from late afternoon through around midnight.

- Tornado and Hail in Mississippi, May 10, 2009During the afternoon and evening of the 10th, a small outbreak of severe storms occurred across the ArkLaMiss region. There were a number of reports of hail, wind damage, and a few tornadoes across the region. One of the strongest storms moved across Sharkey county.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Mississippi, March 29 to 30, 2011An area of low pressure developed over southeast Louisiana and moved east along a warm front which stretched across southeast Mississippi. This eventually caused a strong cold front to sweep through the region with numerous showers and thunderstorms.
- Tornadoes and Damaging Winds in Mississippi, October 9, 2009A potent complex of thunderstorms raced across the northwest portion of the forecast area and brought a line severe storms to the Delta region.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, March 8 to 10, 2011A potent storm system combined with abundant moisture over the ArkLaMiss region to bring nearly 24 hours of showers and thunderstorms, beginning during the day March 8th and continuing through the early morning hours of March 9th.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, December 13 to 14, 2022Severe storms approached mostly northern portions the area into the evening and overnight on the 13th with flash flooding across areas of the Mississippi River Delta and several storms producing tornadoes.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, April 5 to 6, 2025The front eventually sagged south back into the Mid-South during the early morning hours of April 5th. Strong low-level moisture transport into the frontal zone resulted in heavy rain and training storms across northern sections of the Mid-South, mainly north of I-40.

- Tornadoes and Damaging Winds in Mississippi, April 14, 2018During the evening hours of Friday, April 13th, scattered supercells developed across northeast Louisiana within the broad warm sector of a strong surface cyclone centered near the Kansas/Nebraska border.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, January 1 to 2, 2017As a warm front was draped across the region, an upper level disturbance moved across and brought heavy rain and some severe storms during the morning. The storm system developed further during the afternoon and a squall line formed ahead of an approaching cold front.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, April 22 to 23, 2020An upper level storm system moved across the region overnight on April 22nd into 23rd. Abundant moisture and wind energy was in place to bring severe thunderstorms to the region. Damaging winds occurred along with some tornadoes.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Mississippi, August 2 to 3, 2008A rare and widespread significant wind event impacted the NWS Jackson, MS forecast area during the evening of Aug 2nd and lasted into the early morning hours of Aug 3rd.

- Damaging Winds and Lightning Strikes in Mississippi, June 27, 2016Showers and thunderstorms developed across the region. Damaging wind gusts and destructive lightning occurred during the afternoon and evening with some of these storms.
