- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Mississippi, January 24 to 26, 2026A historically damaging ice storm occurred from southwestern Mississippi northeast through the Delta region into North Mississippi.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Mississippi, January 23 to 25, 2026A significant winter weather event impacted the Mid-South from January 23rd through January 25th, 2026, driven by a classic southern-stream cyclone interacting with entrenched Arctic air across the region.
- Ice Storm in Mississippi, February 3 to 4, 2011An ice storm developed across the area on February 3rd into the early morning hours of the 4th. While this icing event was not devastating, the impact to travel was a major issue across the region. Thousands of accidents occurred from slick roads.

- Ice Storm in Mississippi, February 1 to 2, 1996Freezing rain occurred over all the above counties causing widespread damage to trees and power lines. Accumulations of one-half to one inch of ice were common over this area. Over one hundred thousand customers were without power during the event.
- Ice Storm in Mississippi, February 20, 2006During the early morning hours of February 20th, and lasting through early afternoon, portions of the region saw periods of freezing rain.
- Ice Storm in Mississippi, January 27 to 28, 2000A winter storm brought a mixture of sleet, freezing rain, and snow to much of central Mississippi on the 27th and 28th. The wintry mixture began early on the 27th across western portions of the area and spread eastward during the day.

- Ice Storm in Mississippi, December 13, 2000Freezing rain fell across the northwest corner of Mississippi. Numerous tree limbs fell due to the ice with some homes losing power for a short period of time.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Mississippi, January 29 to 30, 2010The Mid-South had a favorable set-up for winter weather during the time frame of January 28th-January 30th, 2010. A cold front moved through the area on January 27th allowing cold arctic air to filter into the region behind the front.
- Ice Storm in Mississippi, December 21, 2000A brief freezing rain event occurred across portions of north central and northeast Mississippi. Since temperatures were close to the freezing mark during the entire event, the primary problem caused was icing of bridges and other elevated road surfaces.
- Ice Storm in Mississippi, February 26, 2003Additional light ice accumulation, the 2nd night, caused a few more trees and powerlines to be knocked down.
