- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Mississippi, February 23 to 25, 2015Multiple rounds of wintry weather had occurred prior to this snowfall event. A cold front had moved through the region four days earlier on February 21st with a cold airmass in its wake.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Mississippi, December 7 to 8, 2017An early season winter storm brought heavy snow to much of Mississippi between the evening of the 7th and into the afternoon of the 8th. The greatest amounts fell mainly south and east of the Natchez Trace corridor. Amounts of up to 7 to 8 inches were measured in the Pine Belt.

- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Mississippi, February 17 to 18, 2021A weak disturbance ahead of the main trough brought light snow to northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel during the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 17th. Meanwhile, another potent mid-level trough approached the Lower Mississippi Valley.
- Heavy Snow in Mississippi, January 19, 2008A low pressure system moving through the northern Gulf of Mexico brought widespread precipitation to the region the evening of Friday, January 18th and the morning of Saturday, January 19th.
- Heavy Snow in Mississippi, January 27 to 28, 2000A winter storm brought a swath of heavy snow across north central Mississippi. The snow began falling over western portions of the area during the early morning of the 27th and spread eastward during the day.
- Ice Storm and Heavy Snow in Mississippi, December 11, 2008A rare early December heavy snow event unfolded across the south starting late on the 10th and really ramping up on the 11th. An upper level low deepened across the northern gulf and produced a swath of snow from southeast Texas, Louisiana, and into Mississippi.

- Heavy Snow in Mississippi, December 14, 1997Light to moderate snow began falling across central Mississippi around 12:30 AM and by the time it ended eight inches of snow was common across the area. This was one of the heavier snowfalls to occur in the Mississippi since 1929.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Mississippi, January 10 to 11, 2021An upper level low pressure system moved across the region, while a surface low developed along the Gulf Coast and tracked east. Precipitation overspread the region, as temperatures were in the 30s.

The heavy snow began falling over Marion and Lamar counties during the late evening of the 1st, then spread east-northeast into southeast Jasper and Clarke counties the early morning hours of the 2nd.

The bulk of the snow accumulated across central and eastern Mississippi, though there was a rather sharp cut-off between locations that saw accumulating snow and locations that saw nothing.
- Heavy Snow in Mississippi, December 4 to 5, 2009On Friday December 4th, and for the second year in a row, an early December snow storm struck southern portions of the ArkLaMiss. This occurred as a strong upper level disturbance helped to induce a low pressure system over the northwest Gulf of Mexico.

- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Mississippi, December 7 to 9, 2017Low Pressure over the Gulf of Mexico drove moisture over a very cold airmass to aid in the development of a band of heavy snow across portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Numerous reports of 2 to 5 inches of snow was reported.
