- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Mississippi, March 24, 2023In the afternoon and evening of the 24th, clusters of strong to severe storms were stretched from southwest to northeast across southeastern Arkansas as robust instability and very strong wind shear served to produce a volatile severe weather environment.

This outbreak started across the Central Plains on the 27th and slowly migrated eastward over the following two days.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Mississippi, February 24, 2001Forty mobile homes and nineteen houses were damaged or destroyed. A fire station had a severely damaged wall. Some chain link fencing was blown over.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Mississippi, December 23, 2014During the afternoon of Dec 23, just enough ingredients came together to support numerous severe storms ahead of a cold front. Across the Lower Mississippi River Valley, peak heating contributed to decent instability in the developing warm sector in advance of the front.

The round of storms began during the evening hours on the 21st and ended just before midnight.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Mississippi, November 24, 2001A supercell thunderstorm moved out of Chicot County Arkansas into northern Washington County, Mississippi. The storm produced a violent tornado that touced down 2.5 miles southwest of Winterville, or along the northern edge of Lake Ferguson.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, March 14 to 15, 2025Isolated severe thunderstorms developed across portions of Mississippi in the overnight hours of March 14th. Coverage of severe storms increased into the morning of the 15th before a squall line developed and moved across the area.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Mississippi, March 15, 2025A potent weather system impacted the local area, producing a rare EF-4 tornado. Only a few tornadoes that strong have developed in the local forecast area. Just as impressive. an EF-3 tornado tracked barely a mile to the east of the EF-4 and only 45 minutes later.

This severe weather episode occurred mainly over portions of the Lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys.
