- Tornadoes and Hail in Maryland, April 28, 2002A massive tornadic storm tore through Central Charles and Calvert Counties between 7 and 8 PM EDT on the 28th. The tornadoes it produced left a 64 mile path of destruction ranging from F1 to F4 damage.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Maryland, September 24, 2001Severe thunderstorms moved through Central Maryland during the early evening of the 24th. One thunderstorm produced a devastating F3 tornado which was on the ground for 17.5 miles from College Park in Prince George's County to just east of Columbia in Howard County.

Two people were killed in Colora after a large tree fell onto the house they were sleeping in. About six large trees were uprooted in Colora. Two other homes were damaged by fallen trees.
- Damaging Winds in Maryland, October 31, 2019A strong cold front passed through during the evening of the 31st. A southerly flow led to warm and humid conditions ahead of the boundary, which caused an unstable atmosphere.

Thunderstorms that developed ahead and along this front produced very heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, large hail, and winds in excess of 55 MPH. Across Baltimore County, heavy rain flooded several roads.

- Tornadoes and Damaging Wind in Maryland, October 5, 1995A tornado touched down just east of Crownsville, and skipped northeast along a 3.8 mile track, exiting Arnold along the Magothy River.
- Damaging Winds in Maryland, June 18, 1997A wet microburst, associated with a heavy-precipitation supercell moving out of northern Virginia, produced a 13-mile swath of scattered tree and power line damage across extreme southern Montgomery Co.
