- Hail and Damaging Winds in Maryland, March 8, 2008Low pressure crossed the Mid Atlantic March 8th, bringing a strong cold front through the region during the late afternoon and evening. This front triggered several strong to severe thunderstorms that produced large hail and gusty, damaging winds.
- Flood and Damaging Wind in Maryland, August 21 to 22, 2016Thunderstorms developed near a triple point of a low pressure system. These thunderstorms produced lightning and heavy rainfall as they moved through the region.
