- Ice Storm and Heavy Snow in Maine, January 5 to 10, 1998A severe ICE STORM hit sections of central and southern Maine from January 5 through January 9.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, February 25, 2015Snow developed across Downeast Maine during the overnight hours of the 24th in advance of low pressure lifting along the coast. A secondary low then intensified in the Gulf of Maine during the morning of the 25th with a trof extending back across Downeast Maine.
- Heavy Snow in Maine, January 12 to 13, 1996From 6 to 12 inches of snow fell across the southern two-thirds of Maine as a strong low pressure center moved northeastward through the Gulf of Maine, just off the east coast.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, January 8 to 9, 1999An area of low pressure moved northeastward from the Mississippi Valley on the morning of the 8th to northern New England on the 9th bringing a mixture of precipitation across the state. Heavy snows fell in the north and mountains where from 6 to 12 inches was reported.

- Heavy Snow in Maine, April 9 to 11, 1996A strong low pressure center traveling northeast just off the coast dumped 10 or more inches of snow over most of Maine.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, March 14 to 15, 1998An intense area of low pressure moving eastward from the Great Lakes brought heavy snow to parts of southwestern and eastern Maine. Elsewhere in southern and central Maine, a moderate snowfall occurred.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, March 6 to 8, 1999A low pressure center that developed rapidly off the New England coast brought a heavy snowfall to all but northwestern Maine. Snowfall amounts generally ranged from 5 to 10 inches along the coast to 10 to 16 inches well inland and in the mountains.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Maine, January 27 to 28, 2015An area of low pressure developed off the Delmarva peninsula on Monday, January 26th, and intensified rapidly as it moved slowly northward through the 27th. Snow spread northward and eastward across the State Monday night and became heavy on Tuesday, the 27th.
- Blizzard and Heavy Snow in Maine, March 14 to 15, 2017An area of low pressure over the central U.S. on the morning of the 13th intensified rapidly as it moved east to the Delmarva Peninsula by the morning of the 14th, and then continued to intensify as it moved northeast along the East Coast through the morning of the 15th.
- Heavy Snow in Maine, March 7 to 8, 1996The combined effects of a deepening surface low pressure center moving northeast off the coast and an approaching upper level system brought 8 to 20 inches of snowfall to the southern 3/4 of Maine.

- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Maine, April 16 to 19, 2007An area of low pressure rapidly intensified while tracking from the southeastern states to the southern New England coast from the 15th to the 16th.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, March 21 to 22, 1998Low pressure moving slowly northeastward from the mid-Atlantic Coast brought heavy snow to parts of the state with mixed precipitation along the immediate coast. Snowfall amounts generally ranged from 6 to 10 statewide, but with lesser amounts along the coast.

- Blizzard and Heavy Snow in Maine, February 12 to 13, 2017An area of low pressure over the Ohio River Valley on the morning of the 12th intensified rapidly as it moved east and into the Gulf of Maine by the morning of the 13th.
- Blizzard and Heavy Snow in Maine, March 13 to 14, 2018Low pressure off the Southeast U.S. coast on the morning of the 12th intensified rapidly as it moved slowly northeast to just southeast of Cape Cod by the morning of the 13th. The low continued its slow movement to Nova Scotia by the morning of the 14th.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, January 23 to 24, 1998An area of low pressure moving eastward from the Ohio River Valley on Friday the 24th caused a mixture of precipitation types across the state. Snow began in western sections late Friday morning, then spread eastward during the afternoon.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, November 16 to 17, 2002A rapidly intensifying area of low pressure moving northeastward from the Florida Panhandle on the morning of the 16th to the Delmarva Peninsula on the morning of the 17th to near Nova Scotia by the morning of the 18th, brought a mixture of precipitation to the state.
- Coastal Flood and Heavy Snow in Maine, January 10, 2024A strong area of low pressure tracked across Quebec province on Wednesday, January 10th. Strong southeasterly winds developed late on January 9th, before increasing in intensity during the early morning hours of January 10th.
- Heavy Snow in Maine, January 3, 1996Up to one foot of snow blanketed the southern two-thirds of Maine as a low pressure system moved up the Atlantic Coast before moving out to sea south of Cape Cod.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, January 20 to 21, 1998A trough of low pressure extending northwestward from a powerful ocean storm brought moderate to heavy snow to much of the southern part of central and eastern Maine.
- Flooding and Heavy Snow in Maine, January 3 to 5, 2003Low pressure developed off the Virginia coast on the morning of the 3rd and intensified as it moved slowly northeastward through the Gulf of Maine on the 4th.
- Blizzard and Heavy Snow in Maine, January 4 to 5, 2018The energy from a storm slipping southeast from the Great Lakes merged with the energy from low pressure off the southeast U.S. coast to form an intense area of low pressure off the mid-Atlantic coast by the morning of January 4th.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Maine, February 25 to 26, 1999An ocean storm developed well off the mid-Atlantic coast, then tracked north-northeastward over Nova Scotia bringing a moderate to heavy snowfall to sections of southern and eastern Maine.
