- Dense Fog in Maine, January 25, 2001A patch of locally dense fog and stretch of icy road contributed to a multi-car accident southwest ofBangor on I-95. Approximately 50 vehicles were involved in the accident...along with 20 to 25 injuries.Only one of the injuries was considered serious.
- Dense Fog in Maine, August 12, 2021Localized dense fog developed in the Kennebec River Valley on the early morning hours of August 12th. A pedestrian was struck leading to a fatality (indirect).
