- Winter Weather and Sleet in Kansas, February 20 to 21, 2008Warm and moist air in concert with an upper level disturbance, interacting with an arctic airmass over the region resulted in moderate to heavy sleet with thunder and lightning across south-central and southeast Kansas during the early morning hours of February 21st.
- Sleet and Winter Weather in Kansas, January 12 to 14, 2007A prolonged winter storm with freezing rain, sleet and snow started the morning of January 12th and persisted through the evening of January 14th.

- Sleet in Kansas, January 14, 2007An upper level low pressure trough moved over the central states Sunday, January 14th and kicked off a round of wintry precipitation over southwest and south central Kansas. Snow mixed with light sleet during the morning hours in over south central Kansas.
