- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Delaware, February 25 to 26, 2007A winter storm that featured mixed precipitation affected Delaware on the 25th. Snowfall accumulations averaged 2 to 4 inches in Kent and New Castle Counties and less than two inches in Sussex County.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 21, 2012A low pressure system that passed south of Delaware during the morning of the 21st brought a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain to the state. Snowfall in New Castle County averaged 1 to 3 inches and less than an inch in Kent and Sussex Counties.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Delaware, January 27 to 28, 2009A frontal boundary was draped from the southern Mid Atlantic region southwestward to the northern Gulf of Mexico. An area of low pressure developed along this front across the lower Mississippi Valley late in the day on the 27th.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Delaware, January 26 to 27, 2011A protracted winter storm with a one-two punch affected Delaware from the early morning of the 26th into the early morning of the 27th. The first phase of the storm affected mainly New Castle County, while the second phase of the storm affected all of the state.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Delaware, March 5, 2015Waves of low pressure that formed along a sinking cold front brought Delaware its heaviest snow of the season on the 5th. Snowfall averaged 4 to 8 inches with the highest amounts in New Castle County and the lowest amounts on coastal Sussex County.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 28, 2008A high pressure ridge that extended from the southeastern United States into Delaware provided the light winds and trapped low level moisture near the ground for black ice to form in Sussex County on the morning of the 28th.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 17, 2016Low pressure off the southeast U.S. Coast strengthened as it quickly tracked out to sea just south of the area on January 17th.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Delaware, February 13 to 14, 2007An area of low pressure tracked across southeastern Canada during the 12th, which brought an arctic front across the Mid Atlantic region late on the 12th.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 21 to 22, 2007A low pressure system that passed to the south of Delaware helped produce a wintry mix of precipitation from the late afternoon of the 21st into the early morning of the 22nd.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 22 to 23, 2008Skies cleared quickly after light rain fell during the afternoon and early evening on the 22nd. Because winds were also light, black ice formed on area roadways overnight. Accidents were reported in Sussex and New Castle Counties. In Sussex County, between 6 a.m. EST and 9 a.m.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, February 1, 2013A low pressure system that formed along a secondary cold front helped drop two to six inches of snow across the southern half of New Castle County, Kent County and the northern half of Sussex County during the morning of the 1st. The heaviest snowfall was right around Dover.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Delaware, January 21 to 22, 2014A winter storm dropped heavy snow in central and northern Delaware and a wintry mix in Sussex County from the 21st into the morning of the 22nd. The winter storm affected New Castle County the hardest. Delaware Governor Jack Markell declared a limited state of emergency.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, November 21, 2008Scattered snow showers which fell across Delaware during the evening of the 21st caused numerous accidents. Accumulations were a coating or less, but the snow initially melted on roadways, but then the water froze as temperatures dropped and black ice formed.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, February 18, 2014Snow in New Castle County and a wintry mix in Kent and Sussex Counties during the morning of the 18th caused slippery and hazardous traveling conditions on untreated roadways.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 21, 2015A clipper low pressure system dropped 1 to 3 inches of snow across most of Delaware during the evening commute on the 21st and helped cause slippery traveling conditions that resulted in numerous accidents.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, February 12, 2008A mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain fell across central and northern Delaware during the afternoon and evening of the 12th. This led to a very slippery commute home from school and work.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, March 7, 2007An Alberta Clipper low pressure system dropped light snow across Delaware during the day on the 7th. Accumulations averaged 1 to 4 inches.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Delaware, March 1, 2015Double barrel low pressure systems brought a winter storm to Delaware on the 1st. A combination of snow, sleet and especially freezing rain affected the state mainly during the second half of the day on the 1st.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 10, 2014A wintry mix of sleet and mainly freezing rain caused numerous accidents during the morning commute on the 10th in the northern half of Delaware before precipitation changed to plain rain later that morning.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, February 9 to 10, 2015A protracted in time freezing rain event along with some sleet caused traveling difficulties and accidents in Delaware from the late afternoon on the 9th through the morning of the 10th.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 18, 2009An area of low pressure moved through the Great Lakes region during the 18th. As this system neared the eastern Great Lakes, another storm system developed near the coast of the Mid Altantic during the early evening hours of the 18th.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Delaware, January 28 to 29, 2014Heavy snow fell across central and southern Delaware during the evening and overnight on the 28th. Lighter accumulating snow fell in New Castle County. Snow started on the evening of the 28th and ended during the early morning of the 29th.
- Winter Weather in Delaware, January 6, 2015A quick moving Alberta Clipper, dropping southeast from Canada and through the Northern Plains, tracked across the Ohio Valley and into the Mid Atlantic by the morning of the 6th.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Delaware, February 21 to 22, 2011A winter storm dropped heavy snow across New Castle County and a sleet and snow mixture in the rest of Delaware from the evening of the 21st until around sunrise on the 22nd.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Delaware, March 25 to 26, 2014Heavy snow fell across Kent and Sussex Counties in Delaware from the afternoon of the 25th into the early morning of the 26th. This was the last widespread measurable snow event of the winter season to affect the state.
