- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Delaware, January 2 to 3, 2014A winter storm dropped 4 to 8 inches of snow across Delaware from the late afternoon of the 2nd into the morning of the 3rd. This caused hazardous traveling conditions for the evening commute on the 2nd and the morning commute on the 3rd.
- Heavy Snow in Delaware, January 20, 2000A pair of low pressure systems, one that moved from the Northern Plains into western Pennsylvania before dissipating and a second one that developed near Wilmington, North Carolina the morning of the 20th produced a steady, heavy snow across most of Delaware.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Delaware, March 5, 2015Waves of low pressure that formed along a sinking cold front brought Delaware its heaviest snow of the season on the 5th. Snowfall averaged 4 to 8 inches with the highest amounts in New Castle County and the lowest amounts on coastal Sussex County.

The winter storm affected New Castle County the hardest. Delaware Governor Jack Markell declared a limited state of emergency.

Lighter accumulating snow fell in New Castle County. Snow started on the evening of the 28th and ended during the early morning of the 29th.

- Heavy Snow and High Wind in Delaware, April 9, 2000A strong cold front moved through Delaware during the early evening on the 8th. A strong secondary low formed on the frontal boundary overnight and by 8 a.m. EDT on the 9th was located near Worcester, Massachusetts.
- Heavy Snow in Delaware, February 16 to 17, 1996A low pressure system lingered over North Carolina on the 15th and developed quickly once it reached Cape Hatteras during the early morning of the 16th. It then moved northeast over the Western Atlantic and reached the Gulf of Maine the morning of the 17th.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Delaware, February 8, 1997The heaviest snow of the winter season for most of Delaware fell throughout the day on the 8th. Snow started just before sunrise on the 8th and fell at a fairly steady clip throughout the day. The snow ended during the evening hours.
- Heavy Snow in Delaware, March 26, 2001A vigorous upper air disturbance produced snow showers across Delaware during the morning of the 26th. Accumulations averaged between 1 and 3 inches. Secondary and tertiary roadways were slippery, mainly before sunrise.
- Heavy Snow in Delaware, February 22 to 23, 2001A fast moving low pressure system brought the season's heaviest snow to Delaware on the 22nd. Accumulations averaged around 6 inches. Snow began falling around noon EST. Cold weather the previous two days made it easy for the snow to accumulate.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Delaware, December 5, 2002The first winter storm of the season dropped four to eight inches of snow across most of Delaware with slightly lower amounts across the immediate coast. In many places this was more snow than fell all of last winter.

Snow began during the afternoon of the 27th and continued until around noon EST on the 28th. The heaviest snow fell during the night of the 27th.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Delaware, February 6 to 7, 2003A winter storm that lasted about eighteen hours dropped about 5 to 8 inches of snow across Kent and New Castle Counties and from less than one inch to around five inches in Sussex County.

- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Delaware, February 24 to 25, 2005Heavy snow fell across Kent and New Castle Counties on the 24th and 25th. Snow also fell across Sussex County, but had a harder time accumulating as temperatures were closer to freezing. The snow spread from south to north between 330 a.m. and 1030 a.m. EST.
