- Flooding in Connecticut, October 15, 2005A low pressure system interacted with a plume of tropical moisture as the low slowly moved parallel to the Long Island and south Massachusetts coasts, resulting in excessive rain and flooding across north central and northeast Connecticut.
- Tropical Storm and Flooding in Connecticut, August 28, 2011Hurricane Irene formed east of the Caribbean island of Dominica, part of the Lesser Antilles region, on the afternoon of August 20. Irene moved through the Caribbean and up the east coast of the United States making landfall twice.

- Flash Flooding and Flood in Connecticut, September 6 to 7, 2008Tropical Storm Hanna impacted Southern Connecticut, making landfall near the Nassau/Suffolk County border in New York around 10:35 pm on the 6th. Storm total rainfall ranged from 2.76 inches at Groton Airport to 6.45 inches at New Canaan.
- Flash Flooding and Flood in Connecticut, September 2, 2021The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Ida resulted in several reports of flash flooding over during the early morning hours of September 2. Rainfall from the evening of the 1st through the early morning hours of the 2nd totaled three to six inches.

- Tropical Storm and Flash Flooding in Connecticut, August 22, 2021Tropical Storm Henri made landfall in southwest Rhode Island around noon on August 22nd, then moved slowly northwestward and westward across northern Connecticut and weakened. Henri brought strong wind gusts and flash flooding.
- Flood in Connecticut, April 15 to 18, 2007Low pressure developed over the lower Mississippi Valley on Saturday April 14th, and then moved northeast while intensifying, reaching the southern Appalachians by Sunday morning, April 15th, and then just south of western Long Island by Monday morning, April 16th.

- Flood in Connecticut, January 27 to 30, 1996A low pressure system over the upper Great Lakes produced a general rainfall of one to two inches across Litchfield County Connecticut. This amount of rainfall on already saturated soil brought many small streams across the county out of their banks.
- Flooding in Connecticut, September 25 to 26, 2018A warm front approached from the south on Sept 25 and stalled just north of Massachusetts on Sept 26. This brought periods of heavy rain to Connecticut with 3 to 6 inches observed over Northeast Connecticut and 1 to 3 inches in Hartford County.
- Flash Flooding and Flood in Connecticut, September 8, 2011A slow moving cold front moved across Southern New England and stalled just south of the area. This front was instrumental in bringing tropical moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee into New England.
- Tornado and Flood in Connecticut, August 18, 2023A high amplitude, negatively tilted trough moving across the Great Lakes and into New England along with cold and warm front provided strong forcing which resulted in flooding, wind damage, and 5 tornadoes.
- Flood and Damaging Winds in Connecticut, September 18, 2012A strong cold front moved through southern New England, resulting in a line of thunderstorms that produced strong to severe winds. In addition, a strong low level jet produced gusty strong to high winds with the front.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Connecticut, July 17 to 18, 2021A relatively stationary front meandered across southern New England on the 17th and 18th while low pressure slowly moved along the front. At upper levels, an upper low was moving slowly eastward from the Great Lakes.
