- Flash Flooding and Flooding in California, March 29 to 31, 2024A strong low pressure system and an associated atmospheric river impacted Southern California on March 30th and 31st. This event saw impacts in the forms of heavy rain, some scattered thunderstorms, and snow to mountain communities above 5000 feet in elevation.
- Frost and Freeze and Freezing Fog in California, February 23, 2019With little airmass moderation taking place in the San Joaquin Valley on February 22 and another night of clear skies and light winds, temperatures dropped below the freezing mark across much of the valley again during the morning of February 23.

- Freezing Fog in California, December 18, 2013Strong valley inversions trapped moisture in the lower elevations around the Honey Lake Basin and caused dense freezing fog on the morning of the 18th.
- Freezing Fog in California, December 30, 2019A low pressure system dropped southward along the California coast on December 29 and 30. This system did not produce much precipitation inland with a few stations measuring a few hundredths of an inch of liquid precipitation.
- Freezing Fog in California, December 31, 2019A northerly low level flow produced upslope low clouds along the south end of the San Joaquin Valley during the evening of December 31 as there was plenty of low level moisture in place from recent storms.
