- Flood in Hawaii, October 2, 2000Heavy rain and showers caused minor stream flooding and ponding of roadways on the Kona side of the Big Island, from Kalaoa to Kailua-Kona town to Keauhou. No serious injuries or property damage were reported.
- Flood in Florida, October 3, 2000Heavy rain from a weak tropical depression dropped three to four inches of rain over southern Brevard and Indian River counties. Widespread minor roadway flooding was reported in Sebastian and in Vero Beach.
- Flooding in Florida, October 3 to 4, 2000On October 2 and 3, 2000 a broad area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico off the southwest Florida coast moved northeast across central florida and eventually became subtropical depression number 1 then tropical storm Leslie off of the northeast Florida coast.
- Flash Flood in Florida, October 4, 2000Heavy rainfall of eight to ten inches in less than six hours caused flooding of roadways and low-lying areas from Lehigh Acres southwest to Ft. Myers Beach in Lee county.
- Flash Flooding in Illinois, October 4 to 5, 2000A stationary boundary just south of the area provided a focus for widespread thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall. Radar estimates and surface reports indicated anywhere from 2 to over 6 inches of rain falling during the evening and overnight hours across the area.
- Flooding in Indiana, October 5 to 7, 2000Rain of 4 to 6 inches of rain fell in West Central Indiana during the evening of the 4th and the morning of the 5th causing widespread small stream flooding across this area.
- Flash Flood in Indiana, October 5, 2000Heavy rain of 2 to 5 inches caused flash flooding along Moores Creek just southeast of Bloomington. A 29 year old woman was killed as her car was swept off a county road adjacent to the creek.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, October 5, 2000Heavy rain of 2 to 5 inches caused widespread flash flooding across parts of central Indiana with numerous roads water covered especially adjacent to small streams.
- Flooding in Indiana, October 5 to 14, 2000The greatest October flood to strike parts of the White River in southwest Indiana since 1926 occurred during the first half of October as 4 to 6 inches of rain across a large part of West Central and South Central Indiana on the evening of the 4th and the morning of the 5th.
- Flash Flood in Ohio, October 5, 2000Heavy rainfall caused streets to be flooded.
