Today through Monday: Hot temperatures in the 90s to 100s will
continue through much of the week thanks to a strong high pressure
ridge. The hottest two days appear to be tomorrow and Wednesday with
some deeper valley locations pushing 105+ degrees (L-C valley
and Wenatchee River valley). Am monitoring the potential for
showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night and Friday night as a
pair of shortwaves moves north through OR and into Washington.
70 percent of ensembles indicate the potential for another ridge
forming early next week which would bring more warm weather. db

00Z TAFS: VFR conditions will prevail. Small airfields in
northeast Washington will experience periods of MVFR conditions
from smoke from regional fires.
