.PREV DISCUSSION... /Issued 934 PM CDT Sun Mar 31 2019/

DISCUSSION...Rain chances have diminished this evening with
the passage of the short wave trough to the east. Removed rain
chances along the coast for rest of this evening. Satellite
imagery shows cloud deck lingering over the Coastal Bend with
00Z CRP sounding indicating the moist layer is between 290-295K.
Loop of IR imagery shows this cloud layer is slowly drifting north
from the Coastal Bend with another cloud layer moving up the Rio
Grande. Cloud cover in this region will keep temperatures from
falling as much as the northern sections. Bumped the minimum
temperatures across southern sections of the Coastal Bend and
Brush Country up a category. Enough isentropic lift could lead
to isolated showers in the southern Coastal Bend overnight.

MARINE...Winds and seas have decreased over the offshore waters.
Will cancel SCA early. SCEC conditions will linger into the
overnight hours offshore with only isolated showers possible.

PREV DISCUSSION... /Issued 701 PM CDT Sun Mar 31 2019/

DISCUSSION...See Aviation section for 00Z TAFs.

AVIATION...Clearing skies have reached the Brush Country as
the upper level disturbance moves into the coastal waters. Brief
period of MVFR ceilings will be possible over the southern Coastal
Bend for the next hour or so. The mid level clouds are expected
to remain along the coast through the night with few to scattered
clouds over the inland coastal plains into the Brush Country.
Another upper level disturbance will move into west Texas late
tonight. Low level moisture is expected to move back into the
Coastal Bend toward daybreak Monday. MVFR ceilings around 2500
feet is expected through the morning into early afternoon, while
mid level clouds should move back into the Victoria Crossroads.
Ceilings will lift to VFR levels in the afternoon. Few-scattered
clouds with some increase in cirrus during the afternoon is
expected for the Brush Country on Monday. Light north winds will
occur through the period.
