A tornado was briefly reported on the ground near Hazelhurst. Significant damage was not reported.
Nickel size hail was observed along US Highway 441, about 2 miles north of Broxton. The time of event was based on radar.
Quarter size hail was photographed in Douglas.
Quarter size hail was reported at the Coffee County High School. Time of report based on radar data.
A mobile home had a new roof peeled back. The roof was not yet secure, it was set on top of the old roof. No other damage was reported in the area. The EM reported a funnel cloud that did not touch down.
Storm survey by EM reported three homes with minor roof damage, several more shelters with damage and at least 20 trees blown down and/or twisted and broken. Video also posted on social media of vortex.
A tree was blown down on Highway 15 near Red Oak Road.
A tree was blown down on State Road 169 near Bethesda Road and blocked the south bound lane.
