Line of showers with embedded thunderstorms continues to
move closer to the area this evening. The line has generally
been falling apart as its gotten closer but nevertheless a
stronger storm or two cannot be ruled out over the next few
hours with the primary threat being gusty winds. Showers
will move into the Bay Area in the next hour or so and this
line will continue to push south through the overnight
hours. Shower activity is expected to be south of the
forecast area by daybreak Monday however with skies quickly
clearing behind the line. For the evening update, will
adjust PoPs to account for latest radar trends and forecast
thinking. Additionally, did bump up winds over the coastal
waters and issued a SCA a few hours to account for this
increase. This SCA will remain in effect until late Monday
morning.

MVFR/IFR cigs/vsbys likely in association with showers and
storms moving into the area. For the 00Z TAF issuance, will
introduce TEMPOs to account for latest radar trends. Winds
behind the front will become more west to northwest after
the FROPA with VFR expected to prevail by daybreak with
mostly clear skies for much of the day Monday.

Gusty south to southwest winds will continue ahead of an
approaching cold front. A period of advisory level winds is
expected overnight over the northeastern Gulf as the cold
front moves southeast through the area. Winds will subside
Monday through the middle of the week as high pressure fills
in behind the front and pushes east into the Atlantic.
